Summer Reading Adventure!

The Aurora Public Library is thrilled once again to be a part of kicking off the Summer Reading Adventure at the Library. This year’s theme, “Read, Renew, Repeat”, makes for a wonderfully diversified summer reading program that encourage reading as a restorative method of self-improvement.

Sponsorship provides summer reading participants the chance to earn fun reading incentives and prizes! We are so appreciative of your generosity to providing further opportunities to children and families in our community!

Low-Sensory Spaces!

The Aurora Public Library Foundation (APLF) is seeking support for our Eola Road Branch Enrichment Project of a low-sensory space.

Low sensory spaces can be useful for everyone, but particularly to those with developmental disabilities and people who have difficulty coping with sensory overload such as bright lights, loud environments and busy spaces.

When someone enters a low sensory space, they have control over their environment by selecting where to sit, use tools to help stay calm and provide a safe space.
