Aurora Public Library Foundation Overview
The Aurora Library Foundation (APLF) was founded in 2000 with the mission of further supporting the needs and services of the public library and the greater Aurora community who access them.
Over our 25 years, we have funded infrastructure expansion projects, bookmobile updates, children’s literacy programs and a host of business, technology, school, and cultural programs that are free to the community.
Today we continue to fund 3 specific needs of the library:
Rory’s Reader’s Adventure Kits
Light of Learning Scholarships
Branch Renovation Enrichment Projects
Honor the Past
Recognize the people and programs that have shaped our library today.
Celebrate the Present
Engage with current initiatives like our Light of Learning Scholarship and Literacy Packet programs.
Create the Future
Contribute to innovation like our branch renovations and enrichment projects like low sensory spaces and a new makerspace.
