Celebrate with us as we raise funds for a new Mini-Bookmobile, a Bookmobile Maintenance Fund and Literacy Packets for Aurora kids!
The annual crowd-pleasing event will feature a silent auction with scores of items that would make great holiday gifts. The auction bidding opens online on December 1st and the physical display opens – 6:15 p.m. the evening of the event.
Every year we select individuals and organizations to honor that have made a significant impact in the Aurora community.
The Lifelong Learning Inspiration Award goes out to two worthy recipients this year: John Savage and Jeff Butler
The Thomas J. Weisner Educational Collaboration Award goes out to the Aurora Women’s Empowerment (AWE) Foundation.
The Award Ceremony will take place at 7:00 p.m.
The Foundation is proud to announce that entertainment will be provided by Ted Oliver Productions Dueling Pianos. Back by popular demand- last year’s attendees were dancing in the aisles during this interactive performance. Entertainment will begin immediately following the awards ceremony and will continue through the evening till 10:15 p.m.
Ticket price of $75 per person includes a full buffet meal with carving station, salad and veggie table, gluten-free options and more, dessert table, and open bar, plus entertainment! Casual cocktail attire.
