About the Aurora Public Library and the Renovation Enrichment Project Campaign:

In 2000, the Aurora Public Library Foundation was created to further the library’s vision of ‘Connecting people to community. Celebrating every story.’

Through community partnerships, donors like you have helped fund numerous projects and helped keep our programming free for community members.

Support for our Branch Renovation Enrichment Projects will serve the entire community, for years to come! Making a gift towards one of our Enrichment Projects will help us create a place of belonging at the Aurora Public Library.

 Shop for a Cause/Fashion Show

The Aurora Public Library Foundation is proud to invite the community to attend this year’s Shop for a Cause/Fashion Show on April 25th from 6:oopm – 8:30pm! This year’s event is in partnership with Wyckwood House and will feature raffles, brands and charcuterie as well as a fashion show starting at 7:00pm!

We are proud to invite women business leaders in our community to serve as models in the fashion show, highlighting “The Women Behind the Clothes” the work they do for our community and what the library means to them! Wyckwood House will also be donating 15% of everything sold that night back to the foundation!

Through the generous support of community members, local businesses and the foundation board, proceeds from this event will go to support enrichment projects at the Eola Road Branch! These projects will include providing updates to the Makerspace, low sensory spaces for youth/adults and expanding our children’s area.

Special thanks to our Sponsors Sonia Garcia, State Farm, VNA Health and Old National Bank.  Thanks also to this year’s Shop for a Cause Co-Chairs, Sonia Garcia and Delia Basile.
